Backyard Golf Party Idea

You don’t need carefully manicured greens to have some fun with a couple of old golf clubs.  You do need a decent sized yard or access to a park that allows such activities.  If you are concerned about the golf balls doing damage simply use practice balls or even an old tennis ball for a laugh.

You can create holes using old tyres and everyone has to pitch the ball rather than put. Or place plastic plant pots into the ground ( not in parks) and depending on size and ground conditions you can put or pitch.   Don’t forget to create obstacles,  and you don’t need 9 holes just play each hole from different start points.

If you can lay your hand on some croquet hoops these are great for putting green or put-put type obstacle course.
